MobileHelp, a new style of medical monitoring that includes GPS technology, gives you or your loved ones full independence and coverage no matter where you are – a great choice for active seniors. Go to the beach, take the bus, even do the grocery shopping knowing help is only a button push away. Both the GPS phone and the powerful in-home console are included with the system, so wherever you are, you’ll be delighted with this new generation of medical alert devices.

MobileHelp is one of the few medical monitoring services in our review that includes GPS monitoring. The GPS-enabled phone provided with the service connects to a live friendly voice in MobileHelp’s monitoring center within seconds, no matter the user’s location. The phone is easy to charge using the system’s in-home console.

We also love that MobileHelp costs roughly the same as a typical in-home medical alert system, but you receive both the GPS phone as well as a console and pendant for in-home use.

MobileHelp is an exciting new service and they make it easy to try before you buy thanks to their 30- day risk free guarantee. No long-term contracts are required, and we especially like that free shipping is offered on all their equipment. The downside: There’s an activation fee and the service is not yet available in Canada.

MobileHelp provides the ultimate in freedom thanks to their advanced monitoring features. Their in-home console enables two-way communication with their monitoring center and includes two lighted buttons – help and reset – in each corner. The console also has 24 hours of backup battery supply. The easy-to-use GPS phone, which looks similar to a garage door opener, has just one button – the button to alert their monitoring center - to simplify the process of contacting their personnel.

Since MobileHelp’s monitoring service focuses more on their GPS phone and console, if you’re looking for a variety of additional in-home monitoring products, such as a voice extender or fall detector, MobileHelp does not deliver. They do however provide a waterproof pendant to use in conjunction with the console, and caregiver tools, such as email notifications of alerts sent to MobileHelp. Caregivers can also log in and see where their clients are using the GPS tracking system.

MobileHelp was founded in 2008 and is based in Boca Raton, FL. Each client has full access to their account on the website, allowing customers to easily change, update and check the status of their service.

MobileHelp sales associates are available Monday–Friday, during the business hours of 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST. On their website you'll find an email for contacting them with further questions, as well as links to their popular Facebook and Twitter pages.

Summary:

MobileHelp is an exciting product in an industry that’s seen little change over the years. Their GPS phone offers unmatched freedom, giving both you and your loved ones priceless peace of mind, and their advanced website offers quick and easy account access. With these features and more, MobileHelp proves to be a top product, and we’re more than pleased to include it in our medical monitoring services review.
